Review current funding choices, gather your documents, and begin the funding process before Thursday orientation. Eligibility and approval depend on the funding path you choose.
Program cost
CDL Program Tuition: $4,500
Additional required third-party costs—such as permit/license, skills testing, DOT physical, drug screening, and related expenses—may add up to $500 depending on the participant’s needs and provider charges.
Estimated total pathway cost: up to $5,000.
WIOA funding may cover up to $4,500 of tuition for eligible participants approved by their workforce agency. Eligibility and award amounts are determined by the agency, not ACE. Any uncovered balance and third-party costs are the participant’s responsibility. Payment-plan or private-financing options may be available; approval is not guaranteed.

- Photo ID
- Social Security card
- Proof of address or residency
- Income, unemployment, dislocation, or employment documentation when applicable
- Selective Service documentation when applicable
- Diploma or GED if requested
- Resume or work history if requested
- SNAP, TANF, veteran, or reentry documentation only when applicable
ACE is not the WIOA eligibility office. Document requirements, award amounts, and timelines are set by the applicable workforce agency and can change without notice.

Start the readiness process for workforce agency funding. Eligibility and award amounts are determined by the agency, not ACE.
Self-Pay
Choose this path if you expect to pay tuition and required third-party costs directly.
Payment Plan
Ask admissions about available payment-plan options. Terms and approval are not guaranteed.
Reentry / Partner Referral
Use this path if a reentry program, community partner, or referring agency is helping coordinate your training.
